LEVEL TEST
In-Country Testing Procedures
(administration outside the US)
l IMS identified as candidate for
training
l Country administers ALCPT as screening test prior
to
ECL
l TCO administers ECL as final language qualification
- If candidate makes required score and is within 105 days of CONUS
course entry date,
s ITO is processed and ECL score, test form, and
date are provided on ITO
- If candidate makes required score but is more than 105 days from
CONUS course entry date, candidate
s should be entered in language training in order to
maintain language proficiency, and
s will need to be retested when within 105 days of CONUS course entry date
- If candidate does not make required score,
snbsp; candidate is entered in language training and can be re-tested after 30 days, or
s another candidate is selected, or
s course is rescheduled or canceled
