Procedures for Entry
Testing at US Installations
Students are administered the ECL test on entry at first US training location
only. Students from DLIELC are not tested. For other ECL and OPI exemptions, click on this link.
l If student achieves required ECL score, student is entered
into training
l If student does not achieve required ECL score,
- student is retested in 1-2 working days (never the same day)
- DLIELC and MILDEP are advised if retest not sucessful
(both must approve a second retest.)
- MILDEP has responsibility to
swaive prerequisite score, or
scancel training and assess penalty charges
